Energize is currently seeking to appoint:

Marketing & Communications Manager – f/t 37 hrs per week annual salary £28,014 – £30,015 depending on qualifications and experience

Energize Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin is an evolving and developing local charitable company and part of a national network of similar organisations who are core funded by Sport England.

Our Mission is to ‘improve lives and empower communities through the power of physical activity and sport’ and we are committed to developing local relationships to nurture and improve local community provision using insight and intelligence.

We are in a challenging, but exciting period of transition and are recruiting for a new Manager who will be a key member of our Team leading on the delivery of marketing strategy, implementing our digital communications plans and helping us to develop a sponsorship and fundraising plan for the future.

We’re looking for someone to join our enthusiastic and high performing team with advanced marketing and communications qualifications and experience – someone who can both see the big picture and is prepared to roll their sleeves up and help us to deliver it.

Ability to use insight to make decisions will be critical and we are looking for someone who has both drive and determination and a desire to learn and influence change.  Well-developed communication skills and an ability to work under pressure will also be essential.

If you are passionate about marketing and communications, highly motivated, with excellent interpersonal skills, significant relevant business experience, and a desire to make a difference to the lives of local people then we want to hear from you.
