Sports Coach UK Funding Opportunities for Coaching

The cost of qualifications is often cited as being a barrier to the development of coaches. In order to help individuals overcome some of these costs, sports coach UK in partnership with the England Coaching Network, Governing Bodies of Sport and the Home Country Sports Councils have produced this handy guide to help identify potential sources of funding.

The guide is split up by country and region to enable individuals to click through to information about their area with ease.

The top tips section also provides a handy animation and tips to help first time funding applicants to get their applications right.

Research has found that 34% of coaches say they would feel more supported if they were provided with funding for CPD and this guide aims to provide that support.

The document is now available for download via the sports coach UK website and for up to the minute funding news and alerts, follow @scUKCoachFund on Twitter

There are other funding opportunities available from a variety of sources. If you would like more information on these please contact Gemma Britton, Coaching and Volunteering Manager at Energize.
