Donnington, Telford:
Progress Update
2-MINUTE READ
Some recent engagements
We’re excited to share progress about our Donnington place-focused work. This initiative aims to tackle health inequalities and create opportunities for physical activity and better health outcomes within the community.
Progress Highlights
Stakeholder Engagement: In October, our first stakeholder event gathered over 20 individuals from 16 organisations, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing. A stakeholder working group is now forming to sustain these efforts with regular meetings.
Community Open Day: Held on 29th October, this event welcomed local residents and organisations. Activities included health checks, digital literacy sessions, and healthy food workshops, with overwhelmingly positive feedback encouraging us to explore future events like this.
Ongoing Presence: We continue to connect with the Donnington community through events like the Christmas Light Switch On and partnerships with local schools, medical practices, and organisations like The Silver Threads Hall.
